  • Winter Weather Closing Information Dear Parents,Due to the impending winter storm forecast, calling for high winds and significant snow accumulations, the Norfolk Public Schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 27,2015.  Governor Baker has declared a State of Emergency and placed a ban on travel beginning tonight at midnight with the exception of emergency medical and transportation employees.  The Norfolk Police are asking families to make sure all vehicles are off the roads and that cars are pulled at least 10 feet into the driveway so that they are out of the way of plows.  The town will be sending a message out to Norfolk Residents with additional safety information.  All evening events for the Norfolk Public Schools for Monday ...

  • Connect-Ed from the Superintendent 1/8/15 January 8, 2015Dear Parents,Please be advised that the Medfield police received a report yesterday from a parent that a white SUV (possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee) approached two students at their bus stop on Pueblo Street. The driver was male with dark hair. The driver asked the children for directions to the nearest McDonalds.  When the parent walked out of her house and called to her children, the driver promptly drove away. As this incident was very similar in nature to the incident that occurred in Norfolk on December 1st, I wanted to make you all aware. I have asked the principals at both the H. Olive Day School and the Freeman-Kennedy School to have all teachers ...
